EventBrite is a free service that allows you to set up an event, sell tickets, or take free reservations all online. Payments are accepted through PayPal, which allows your attendees to pay by credit card or their own PayPal account. Standard PP fees apply.
EventBrite gives the service freely if your event is free. If you are charging, they ask a small % (2.5%) of your ticket price as their fee.
